Frank H. Taylor and his team have had a 30 year relationship with the people and landscape of the Kokoda Trail.
Frank himself has travelled over the Trail over 130 times, coupled with numerous shorter explorations of specific areas & localities of historical importance. He has been the on-location liason for several seperate historical documentary film shoots of the Trail, including for the Australian Army ("The Bloody Track") and the Australian Broadcastig Corporation’s Four Corners Team ("The Men Who Saved Australia").
We have also been involved in projects of a lasting historical significance, including the preparation, construction and erection of memorial explanatory bronze historical plaques along the Kokoda Trail at 6 significant locations, and the preparation, construction and erection of 2 bronze relief maps - with historical notations - of the Kokoda/Papuan Campaign. You will be able to see these lasting memorials as you journey with us along the Kokoda Trail.
